Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha & Bethsaida | Sacred Sites of Jesus

The Mount of Beatitudes, Tabgha and Bethsaida are neighbouring sites on the north‑western shore of the Sea of Galilee. Each place is woven into the New Testament: the hill where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount, the site where He fed the multitude with loaves and fish, and the village where several of His apostles were born and a blind man received his sight. Exploring these locations reveals the deep connection between geography and faith and invites modern believers to walk in the footsteps of the Gospel.

Sea of Galilee | A Tapestry of History, Faith and Miracles

The Sea of Galilee, also called Lake Kinneret, is the lowest freshwater lake on Earth and the beating heart of Jesus’ Galilean ministry. On its shores He called fishermen to be disciples, taught multitudes, calmed storms and walked upon the water. Over centuries, this lake has witnessed Jewish revolts, trade routes and communities of faith, making it a unique crossroads of history and spirituality.

Capernaum | The Town of Jesus and the Heart of His Ministry

Capernaum lies on the northwest shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel. In the first century it was a bustling fishing town on the Via Maris trade route, home to about 1,500 people. Here Jesus made His base after leaving Nazareth, taught in the synagogue, called his first disciples and performed many miracles. Today its ruins, the synagogue, Peter’s house‑church and quiet seashore, invite believers to reflect on a faith rooted in real places and everyday lives.
