Olive Wood Saint Benedict Bracelet with Five Medals
One size fits all
Handmade from natural olive wood in Bethlehem, these Christian bracelets combine everyday wear with symbols of faith, prayer, and Christian tradition.
Due to the handmade nature of the product each one might slightly differ.
This Saint Benedict bracelet combines Holy Land olive wood, reflective silver-tone metal beads and five devotional medals in one compact stretch design. Four smaller Saint Benedict medals are incorporated directly into the strand, while a larger two-tone medal hangs freely as the bracelet’s principal focal point.
Approximately 0.31in (8mm) olive wood and silver-tone beads are arranged on a flexible elastic band with no clasp. The bracelet weighs approximately 0.53oz (15g). Its design is unisex, but its relatively small circumference makes it best suited to women and adults with slimmer wrists.
Olive Wood and Silver-Tone Beads
The bracelet brings together natural olive wood beads and reflective silver-tone metal beads in grouped sections around the strand. The polished metal creates a brighter, more contemporary contrast with the warm honey, amber and dark brown tones of the wood.
Natural grain markings vary across every olive wood bead. Some carry pronounced dark lines, while others show softer variations in color. These differences are characteristic of olive wood and make every finished bracelet slightly individual.
Five Saint Benedict Medals
Four smaller Saint Benedict medals are threaded directly into the bracelet at intervals around the wrist. A fifth, larger medal hangs from the strand in a gold-tone frame with a darker antiqued centre.
The combination creates several visible points of devotion rather than relying on one isolated charm. As the bracelet moves, one of the smaller medals or the larger hanging medal naturally comes into view.
The Saint Benedict Medal
The Saint Benedict Medal brings together the image of Saint Benedict of Nursia and the Cross of the Holy Father Benedict. Its inscriptions are formed from abbreviated Latin prayers centered on the Holy Cross, resistance to temptation and trust in Christ.
Among the best-known initials are C S S M L and N D S M D, representing the prayer:
Crux Sacra Sit Mihi Lux. Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux.
“May the Holy Cross be my light. Let not the dragon be my guide.”
The medal is traditionally worn as an expression of Christian faith and prayer. It should not be presented as a magical object or as guaranteeing automatic protection from illness, danger or evil.
The Two-Tone Hanging Medal
The bracelet’s largest medal features a warm gold-tone border surrounding a darker antiqued image of Saint Benedict. This contrasting finish makes it visually distinct from the smaller silver-tone medals incorporated into the strand.
Suspended from a small metal ring, it moves freely against the beads and serves as the bracelet’s central devotional feature. The image of Saint Benedict recalls his enduring emphasis on prayer, disciplined Christian life and faithful daily work.
Olive Wood from the Holy Land
The olive tree is deeply connected with the biblical landscape. The olive branch appears in Scripture as a sign of peace and renewed life, while the Mount of Olives and the Garden of Gethsemane hold an important place in the ministry and Passion of Jesus.
Christian artisans have worked Holy Land olive wood into crosses, rosaries and devotional gifts for generations. This bracelet brings that material together with one of Catholic Christianity’s most recognized devotional medals.
Unisex Design for Slimmer Wrists
The olive wood, silver-tone metal and Saint Benedict imagery make the bracelet suitable for men and women. However, because its circumference is relatively small, it is best suited to women and adults with slimmer wrists rather than being presented as a universal adult size.
It makes a meaningful gift for Confirmation, baptism, Christmas, Easter, birthdays, the Feast of Saint Benedict or everyday devotional wear. Measuring the recipient’s wrist before purchasing is recommended.

Care Instructions
Roll the bracelet gently over the hand rather than pulling or overstretching the elastic. Remove it before showering or swimming and avoid contact with perfume, cosmetics and household chemicals. Wipe the wood, metal beads and medals with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Do not store the bracelet stretched around a wide object, as prolonged tension may weaken the elastic.
